I'm looking for a way in Hyper-V to achieve the "non-persistent disk" concept in other Hypervisors:
1. Power on,
2. Make changes,
3. Power off,
4. All changes to the non-persistent disks are discarded
5. Power on
--> Same state as at the beginning of #2
This can be achieved by creating a snapshot and asking the users to apply it at the end or beginning of sessions, but this is hard to enforce.
This could be achieved by scripting/automation, but it generally still requires user training/actions.
Does Hyper-V have such a thing?
