Hi,
I have a Windows 2012 R2 server, the one with no GUI(headless, main window launched by sconfig.cmd).
There are some broadcom drivers that need to be updated.
I downloaded win_b57_x64-17.2.0.2.zip from http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet-nic-netxtreme-i-server, extracted the files to a folder.
The files are:
b57nd60a.cat
b57nd60a.inf
b57nd60a.sys
Now how do I check the existing broadcom network driver version and update it with the latest one that I have downloaded?
I did some searching and come up with:
corefig
pnputil -i -a <driverinf>
But these utilities are mainly for installing new drivers.
What about updating?
I cannot run the device manager remotely from computer management on the hyperv host because I get an error and will not connect.
Can someone show me how to do this?
I wish that MS would have some documentation on how to do this, I could not find any.
Thank you.
Best regards
