Occasionally one or more of my VMs "cannot be found" by the Remote Access client.

We are running a Server 2008 R2 with 13 Windows 7 VMs and a virtual SBS 2011 server. WE have clients at remote offices that use the Remote Access page to connect to a VM so they can run an SQL based application. About twice a month, and seemingly at random, I will get a message from a remote client telling me they cannot access their assigned VM. The error they get is:

"Remote Desktop can't find "VM0X-PC".  This might mean that "VM0X-PC" does not belong to the specified network.  Verify the computer name and domain that you are trying to connect to."

When I look at the remote access site the computer is listed and says available.  When I open the server and go to Hyper V Manager, the VM is running and I can access it.  Generally, I will reboot the VM from inside, restart it from Hyper V Manager.  I will also go to the SBS dashboard and reset the users permissions to access that VM.

This will usually restore the users access to the VM.  It brings me no closer as to the reason why this is happening.  I have seen nothing in the event viewer for either the Server or the VMs that have been affected.  The issue seems to defy logic.

I am hoping someone here can help.
