Ok I'm a little confused here: I have a VM that has a static ip in the .13 segment, 192.168.13.21 because the original host, HOST1 was also in the .13 segment. After I migrated the VM
from HOST1 to HOST2, which is in the .15 segment, I expected to
have to change the IP on the VM to something in the .15 segment because the host is in the .15 segment and there is currently no NIC on HOST2 that is on the .13 segment. It is not multihomed. However, the VM maintaines it's .13 IP address and is somehow
able to communicate with the rest of the network. How can a host on the .15 segement host a VM that is on the .13 segment? How does the .13 VM talk to the network? Where is this routing being performed? Signed, Confused
