I have been trying to edit the names of the remote audit devices in a VM client. In Control panel > Sound > Remote Audio it allows me to change the name of the device but it dose not save the changes. I have tried changing the security settings for the VM but still unable to make changes?
My reason for making the changes are because I am trying to run Rosetta Stone version 3 within the VM. The software runs ok but does not pick up the microphone, my research into why this is has turned up that the Rosetta Stone software is looking for a device named microphone so I have try tried to change the device to that. All I seen to be getting is more cookie crumb trail.
Is there anyway that these settings can be change?
