We have an issue where various virtual servers on a hyper V cluster will lose their IP connectivity on restart of the server.
One thing we have found is that after the restart if you type ipconfig in the command prompt it does not show an IP address but does show the gateway address.
When we go into the properties of the network card of the virtual machines under the IPv4 properties it shows the correct values but the server fails to work.
To fix we can disable the NIC and reenable and everything works again.
Another fix is to move the virtual machine to another host.
It just doesn't make sense.
Has anyone seen this before?
