I have a problem with my hyper-v setup.
2 guests VM's are running on my single hosts with no problems and I am able to create and remove checkpoints.
After about a day I am not able to take any more snapshots. I am able to remove the checkpoints in the Hyper-V console but some .avhdx files remain on the file system. Any attempt to take a snapshots results in the following error:

An error occurred while attempting to checkpoint the selected virtual machine(s).

Taking a checkpoint of 'server-BDC' failed.
The operation cannot be performed while the object is in use.
Once I reboot the server I am able create and merge checkpoints again with no issues for about 1 day until the same error appears again.
