We are currently trying to get Hyper-V Replica to work on our server setup, we have done this successfully many times, however on one particular server we keep getting the error in Event Viewer:
'VM' requires resynchronization because it is about to run out of disk space on 'D:\vmhdds\' available space is less than 300 MB.
The D:\ drive on the host machine (the one running the VM) has 250+ GB free, and there are no disk/folder quotas active.
The VM's HDD size is 1.44TB and the server being replicated to has 1.8TB free. The 'Sending initial replication' phase completes successfully, however from my monitoring, I can see that the task overall fails at "Merge in progress" at around 20-30%
- and the above error is logged in Event Viewer.
Any ideas on solving this problem?
