So i am trying to understand containers in server 2016 (tp). The articles i have read talk about "applications" running in the container. Server OS could be an "application" and hyper-v could be an "application". We are a
services company and offer some services to clients (like system monitoring). What really interests me is the isolation but i am thinking in the realm of malware/hacks. If a VM running in a container gets hacked or infected with malware that spreads to the
network and other PC's/servers/VM's then running in a container will prevent the spread? I'm trying to decide if VM/OS containers will benefit our business.
