Microsoft Hyper-V 2012 R2 VM boots to CMS [C:\Users\Administrator] and not windows

Hi,

I am setting up a new Windows 2012 R2 VM on Hyper-V 2012 R2. I go through the VM configuration and installation process successfully. However, after I change the administrator password and login, I get a CMD window and not the OS window screen. Itried it with generation 1 and 2. I assigned 2048 RAM, 2 v Processors, 100 GB system drive [I also tried 10GB], I made sure DVD is set to none.  

Please advice.
