I used the MS p2v tool to make vhdx files for a c and d drive on a server 2008r2 server. Then created a new virtual on a server 2012r2 server. The vhdx for the c drive works fine but the one for the d drive shows in disk manager in the virtual
as 2 partitions and the disk as offline due to disk id conflict. Also, cannot just mount the d drive vhdx--says it's corrupted. However I can mount the same file on a windows 10 computer. Why wouldn't it mount on the 2012r2 box or attach
to the virtual ?
