I'm new to virtulisation and trying to create a virtual machine on Windows 10.
In Windows features I can turn on all Hyper-V features apart from Hyper-V Hypervisor as this is grayed out, and the message virtualisation support is disabled in this firmware.
Hyper-V extensible virtual switch is visible in my network settings but if I select it and press OK, it seems to apply, but the next time I go onto the network settings it is disabled again.
Virtual switch management won't work, I'm sure that's because the Hyper-V extensible switch is disabling itself (somehow).
Is something strange going on here, or am I making a simple error? The laptop is a Lenovo T420, so maybe that won't support it. Running Windows 10 64bit, and the BIOS version is 83ET61WW (1.31), 07/07/2011. Maybe this needs updating?
