Hello,
I have a fresh Windows 10 Pro (Windows 10 v1511) workstation running Hyper-V in adomain environment. I have two workgroup
Hyper-V host servers, one Windows 2012R2 Standard and one Windows 2016 release 4.
I am not able to connect to either server from the Windows 10 Hyper-V Manager. I have search everywhere and tried everything I have found and still cannot attach to it. In the past, I was able to connect and manage the Win2012R2 server with a Windows 8.1 computer.
I have followed these instructions (and countless others) to try are resolve this issue:
Manage Remote Hyper-V Hosts with Hyper-V Manager
I originally tried to connect to the Win2012R2 host and was not able to connect. I then setup the Win2016 server to test connecting to it and still cannot connect.
I am running my domain controller as a VM and don't want my Hyper-V hosts to be dependent on the DC VM.
I am at a loss what to do. I have had not issues in the past connecting to workgroup Hyper-V host servers.
Thank you...
Charles
