Hello,
I'm having a strange problem with RemoteFX on a domain-joined Hyper-V 2012 host.
The RemoteFX graphics card option in Hyper-V settings is greyed out when the host is joined to the domain, but when taken off the domain the option is available and I can select the required graphics card.
This seems to be group policy related, as if I put the Hyper-V host in its own OU and block inheritance (no enforced policies), the RemoteFX graphics card option is again available.
I have spent some time searching the web looking for a solution, but I've only found others with the same problem who never got an answer (or at least not one that was published online). I did some trial and error testing with my group policy, but couldn't find which setting was causing the problem. Even the default domain policy (unmodified server 2012 version) caused RemoteFX to become unavailable.
Has anyone here seen this before? or more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
