Situation:

4 node Windows Server 2012r2 Hyper-v cluster
Multiple 2008r2 VM's

Altaro software for back-up (using microsoft VSS)

Problem:

When taking a back-up a snapshot is created, however some of my machines goes offline when taking a snapshot.

On the Hypervisor hosting the problematic VM, I did a list writers on diskshadow.

- Component Dependencies:

I checked the following things;

http://support.altaro.com/customer/portal/articles/808575-what-are-the-requirements-for-live-backups-of-a-hyper-v-guest-vm-

All steps in the document are OK.

How can I troubleshoot this problem?
