P2v conversion of Windows Server 2003 won't show network properties

Hi everyone,

I've used vmware converter 4.01 to convert one our our old Windows 2003 Server SP2 x86 servers to run on our Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V host

Before doing this, I 'inject' the IDE drivers and merged registry data as per

Then converted the .vmdx files to vhd

Server 2003 boots but the network properties page refuses to open, even using control netcpl.cpl does not show the network properties.

Integration services are installed.

Should I be using the LEGACY network adapter or will that slow the network down as it is emulated.
