is anywhere a detailed format description of the BIN file that gets created for SAVED STATE as well as for the SNAPSHOT/CHECKPOINT of running machines? I need the format used by 2012/R2 hosts. It seems the file is kind of smaller than the currently consumed RAM, thus I supposed it must be compressed in some way, right?
I thought it could be made public due to the Open Specification policy, but I didn't find anything.
