I have 30 Physical Servers (Standalone Domain Joined) which are running 75 Hyper-V VM's (Physical Server OS: Windows 2012 , Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2003). Each Server is having their own Network Switch and VHD's are resided on both Local Hard disk and Remote Storage Device.
We have Procured 6 New Physical Servers and Installed Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter (with 5*2TB LUN presented on all the Servers).
Plan:
We would like to create a 06 Node Cluster on New servers and Migrate all the 75 VM's to New Cluster and we have downtime available for all the VM's on Weekends
Query:
Kindly suggest a best practices to successfully Migrate the VM's including Network Consideration and Storage Movement etc..
