Hello Members,
I have a server with a disk volume, with the usual partitions, System (350mb), C:\(100GB), and H:\ (for data) - 107GB.
Unfortunately this volume ( a raid 10 config) also has two partitions of unallocated disk space, 48GB, and 19GB.
We have a problem as this "volume" is a hyper v virtual machine vhdx file. the vhdx file to almost too big to
fit on the hyper v host data partition. Is there any way to get rid of the unallocated space, thereby shrinking the file by
some 60 GB? The goal here would be to shrink the overall size of the vhdx file, currently at 280GB, and free up space on the hyper v host.
Any suggestions?
thanks,
