Virtualizing with multiple physical drives and volumes

I have a server with 2 physical drives and 4 logical volumes. C:, the OS volume is its own drive with 1 logical volume. The 3 other logical volumes are on the 2nd physical drive.

Will DISK2VHD create a single VHD for all volumes or should they be separated and added to the Hyper-V virtual machine as they are? Is there a "best practice" when it comes to Hyper-V VMs and multiple volumes?

Thanks in advance!

AIS
