Hyper-V Replication Default Port Issue

Good day

I have a few small issues with my 2012R2 replication. First off the replication works and I can replicate any of my 250 production VMs from our production to our DR cluster in another datacenter. My questions are:

When I configure a new VM to replicate, under the specify connection parameters screen, my server port defaults to 443 and the radio button goes to HTTPS even though the settings for the replicabroker I selected are port 80 and Kerberos (http) which I've verified a number of times. Where is it getting the settings on this screen from? Because of this I get the "Could not get configuration details of specified server" message and I have to change it every time I configure a VMs replication.

The end result of this is that my VM replication will work but after the wizard completes, along with the "Replication has successfully been created on the replicabroker", I also get a message saying that the VMs network adapters are not connected. I now have to manually select my production network settings for every VM I replicate.

This is only a minor thing but I would like to fix it if possible. I suspect it has to do with the fact that my replication settings get incorrect default values from somewhere. Any ideas where from?
