We've had a 2 node Hyper-V cluster running for a few months now and it's been fine. We currently have approx. 25 virtual servers across both nodes and for some reason today we had an issue where the VMs could ping each other but none of the physical machines on the same subnet.
There were no obvious physical network or switch problems and nothing obvious in any of the cluster node or VM Event Logs.
The first time the problem happened we restarted the VMs and that seemed to resolve the problem for a short while but then it happened again and we resorted to restarting both Hyper-V nodes in turn.
This seems to have resolved the problem for now but we're still none the wiser at to what caused the problem in the first place.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Cheers for now
Russell
