Bitlocker CSV using Active Directory based protector negates the need for a TPM module?

Hello,

I just wanted to get a definitive answer to the question of can we use Bitlocker to protect one or more CSVs in a clustered 2012 R2 environment without the need for TPM modules in each physical Host?

I've read various blogs and posts that suggest when using Bitlocker in a Clustered environment you use the Active Directory based protector. This leaves me wondering if this negates the need for the TPM module as each cluster node will have a different one installed.
