Hello,
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-v cluster with 2 nodes, and I’m installing Debian 7 has guest OS. I need to add a pass through disk, which I did has I would to a Windows guest OS, but in the Failover Cluster Manager, Storage option, the pass through disk to Windows guest OS have the description \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskX\PartitionY and the pass through disk to the Devian OS has no description. Also when I refresh I get the following warnings:
“Disk path '\\.\PhysicalDriveY' is not a path to storage in the cluster or to storage that can be added to the cluster. You must ensure this storage is available to every node in the cluster to make this virtual machine highly available.”
“The additional storage (\\.\PhysicalDriveY) needed for virtual machine 'Virtual Machine MY Server' is currently being used by another service or application in the cluster and is not available for use by this virtual machine.”
Does anyone knows why I’m getting this error?
Thanks.
