We have Hyper-V 2008 R2 with three Nodes.
We have failover clustering setup and working properly.
We have a SQL 2012 as one of the guest machines.
What is the best practice to give the hard drives the best read\write speed in this scenario?
I have set the the cluster size of the drives to 64K when I formatted them. I have tried both direct iSCSI drives to the guest vm and as fixed VHD's.
My last hope was to assign a iSCSI drive to the guest VM that is being connected to the host. Basically attaching and existing offline iSCSI drive from the host to the guest VM. Will this increase speed? Also will my Hyper-V failover work for this situation, will I just need to connect the same offline drive to all the nodes?
Thanks All
