Hello,
This is my home test configuration. I have Windows Server 2012 with two NICs. I do not have domain or DNS servers. My Cisco Router assigns DHCP addresses. On my server, I have Hyper-V enabled and one of the NICs is used for Hyper-V traffic only.
Now I need to add another NIC connected to the same network. One of my VMs (Ubuntu) should use only this NIC to communicate with my network and Internet.
I added another NIC, added new External Network with this new NIC to the Hyper-V Virtual Switch Manager. If I assign this new external NIC to my VM, I can connect to any machine on my network, but I cannot connect to the Internet. I receive "destination host unreachable" error.
If I assign my old NIC to this VM, everything works, but I need to use new NIC with that VM.
Can someone help me with this?
Thank you. Eric.
