I am running Hyper-V on Enterprise Server 2012 R2. I have a number of physical Windows 7 machines on the Network and all can "Map" the Network from their Network and Sharing centre. I have created a Windows 7 Ultimate VM in Hyper-V and as soon as it is started, all the physical Windows 7 machines on the network lose the ability to Map the Network. The Windows 7 VM can't map the network either.
I have found that the only way to restore the functionality(to both physical and virtual Windows 7 machines) is to disable the LLTP Responder in the Windows 7 VM's virtual Network Connection properties.
Has anyone else seen this and if so, is it fixable? Is it likely an incompatibility between the LLTP and the Virtual Swiitch on the server?
