When looking in perfmon on the virtual machine (2k12 std) under network\tcp connections I see many connections that have high latency, 300 ms+. When I look at the host nothing above 15ms (one or two connections). However my users are not complaining (any more then usual) about access times but I suspect that a few application issues I'm having my be a result of this.
Physical servers are Dell R720 with INTEL nics (not Broadcom), I have RSS enabled on all production network NICs both physical and virtual and in the vm as well. The MS Network Adapater Multiplexor Driver (Production Team) on the host is x4 - 1G Intel teamed adapters. The team is Switch Independent with Hyper-V as the load balance. My storage, iscsi array, has no issues and has plenty more iops to give. All drivers are up to date.
Any help or links that can explain this are greatly appreciated.
