I had become fascinated with the idea of using a hyper v child instance as my daily use machine, while keeping the actual host spotless a few years back. However the dream quickly became a nightmare when I first tried to set it up. I bought and returned
an entire computers worth of components over the fantasy. For daily use I rely heavily on both: frequent VPN connections (work) and Pandora (maintaining sanity). I connect to the child through the console window and no audio. I connect
to the child through RDP and no VPN. I had previously used Virtual PC 2007 and this used to be possible however there is no 64-bit child support. Has there really been no thought toward producing a virtual device with some drivers for the console
side of the child hyper v pc? It's been years this has been a lingering issue. THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT EXIST THAT NEED AUDIO AND VPN CAPABILITY. This is the single largest factor in my recent lack of upgrading.
