RDP and Static Public IP

Hello, 

I received a block of statics from the ISP, but they were not private addresses. In other words, my server now has a public ip which I don't want for security reasons. 

I am not an expert at this, so my Q is, I just need to remotely login to the server using rdp. I presume A static is required for RDP, but can I make it a private address? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
