I recently decided to try out Hyper-V. I currently have a machine running Windows 7 with a couple Virtual Box VMs that run on it. I actually physically swapped the hard drive out for a new one, and then installed Hyper-V Core on the new hard drive. Afterwards, I swapped the old hard drive back in. Now when I attempt to start any of my VirtualBox VM's, I get an error that says "Error: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine".
I know that Hyper-V and Vbox don't coexist well in the same windows installation, but is there any way that me installing Hyper-V core on a different HD affected my system? All I could figure is that it changed some virtualization setting in the BIOS, but when I go into the BIOS settings, I can't find anything relating to virtualization (In my case it would be the AMD-V setting).
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling VirtualBox a few times to no avail, and I'm almost at my wits end. I know this may be more of a VirtualBox issue than Hyper-V, but wanted to see if there was any possible way the act of installing Hyper-V on a different drive could be causing the issue here.
