I've noticed that my hyper-v 2012 r2 hosts are growing kernel memory, it appears that it doesn't stop grow.
One of the hosts it grew up to 80GB, server is equipped with 200GB - it's nearly 50%.
Only way to flush the kernel memory is to restart the host.
I've done Set reserved Hyper-V Parent Host memory, using HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Virtualization\MemoryReserve
But it doesn't seem to take effect, kernel memory is still growing.
Please assist.
