I have a server 2003 that I am trying to virtualize onto a server running 2008R2 standard with Hyper-v installed
I am using sysinternals "disk2vhd" utility to migrate the hard drive
I get the server set up and booted and I log in and install the integration services for hyper-v and reboot the VM
-Now I have a ntoskrnl.exe error and my VM won't boot, tried multiple times and get this error as soon as I install VM integration services
Is there a way around this error? I have never had this happen before.
The only thing I can see that might be an issue is the server I am migrating from has dynamic disks mirrored through windows that stay dynamic when converted to VHD
