Hello,
I am using Windows Server 2012 R2 Update 1 on a Fujitsu Cluster in a Box.
I have the following issue:
When I do a manual Live Migration of a VM, the VM Nic gets an ip conflict with itself and stops responding.
When I do a ipconfig inside that VM, I see an APIPA Address assigned (because of that conflict). If I then disable and enable the NIC inside the guest again, the IP works correctly again with the static address I assigned inside the guest.
When I do a quick migration there is no ip conflict issue for that VM.
Also when Live Migration is initiated due to a reboot of the owning cluster node, there is also no issue with ip address of the VM.
Only when doing a manual live migration. Maybe the Cisco Switch where the cluster is attached to is too slow to register the quick MAC-IP change?
Is there anything I can do to fix the issue? Ideas?
