I was trying to enable hyper-v for my computer, but as I don't have windows 8 pro it wasn't visible in the windows features dialog. I found hyper v on my uni's dreamspark server, though, so I downloaded and installed that. Now, windows boot manager immediately boots into a hyper-v server rather than normal windows 8.
I just wanted a virtual machine. How can I fix this so that I can use windows 8 again? All I can think of is system recovery/restore. Also, what is the difference between this server version and the vm?
