Hello,
I am having an issue with Hyper-V Replica. I have 2 servers running Hyper-V Windows Server 2012 R2 that are on the same domain. I configured hyperv replica using this website:
http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/52146-how-to-configure-hyper-v-replica
- The management computer is not on the domain but I am able to configure hyper-v replica on that computer so I dont think thats the issue.
- I allowed all the services to be trusted for delegation on each of the 2 hyperv servers using Kerberos only in the delegation tab of Active Directory.
- I am logged into the domain administrator account on both Servers.
- I even tried the following below but that didnt work so i selected all the services:Open AD, Properties on Server A, Tab "Delegation", Choose "Trust this computer for delegation to specified...", Users or Computer, Select Server B, press Add..., Choose "CIFS, Hyper-V Replica Service and Microsoft Virtual System Migration Service", press OK *2, do the same to Server B but choose Server A as Trusted Delegation.
- I configured replication to use Kerberos on port 80 and allowed replication from any authenticated server.
My issue is, when i right click on a vm to enable replication, the enabling replication status bar just sits there but it looks like its doing something but its not. I have let it sit for 24 hours and nothing happens. it just sits there. I have to stop it by hitting f4 and then i do it again by right clicking and clicking replication -> start initial replication and then it starts copying over for some reason. I only know that because i see the hard drive space going down on the replicated server. Then , when i try to do a planned failover, the "send data that has not been replicated to the replica server actions" progress percentage just stays at 0% and never moves. I let it sit for 8 hours and it didnt do anything. I cant even start the replicated VM because I get an error that says the replication is ongoing.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
