Working on an HP Proliant server with a 4 port NIC. Two ports are cabled to switch and two are empty. Can RDP to Host fine before HyperV Role is installed. Afterwards cannot. Checked firewall rule and it was still enabled for RDP Public.
Go into HyperV Manager and look at the External Switch that was automatically created and it is allowing Management to be shared on the selected NIC. It appers NIC Teaming was automatically applied to the two cabled ports since #1 and #2 are not shown but #3 and #4 are shown as available.
What needs to be done to allow RDP to a HyperV host after role installed?
