I have an HP proliant DL180 G5 server with 20GB of RAM. It's running server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V role installed. VMs are installed on RAID 5 disks.
I have three VMs running on this server, WSUS, WDS, and PRINT server. I am thinking of virtualizing other servers, but before I do I would like to make sure I am prepared and ready when/if "it" hits the fan.
What are some good practices when it comes to having a disaster recovery plan for Hyper-V servers? For example, how would you prepare and ready your server in case the Hyper-V server fails/dies?
regards,
Alex
