I have my Domain controller with Hyper-v running on it, I know its not the best practice, But the scenario at my workplace forces me to do so. I've assigned a virtual switch to my LAN and then reconfigured both DHCP and RRAS so that the clients are getting internet access. The WAN interface is not touched. I want to know how to assign IP addresses to different guest machines so that they act as machines in my local network, i.e I have my local network range as 192.168.0.0, So I want to give the guest machines ip's like 192.168.0.30 etc. I hope another NIC wouldnt be necessary.
Currently after installing a Centos OS on a guest machine and running an 'ifconfig' in the command line, it does not show any ethernet interfaces, all it shows is a loopback IP. Please help asap.
