Hyper-V replication in Windows Server 2012 R2: Error Applying Network Adapter Changes

Hello!

I have two standalone host machines - Host1 and Host3 (both running WinServer 2012 R2), Host1 is currently running DC2 VM.

IP settings:

Host1: adapter1 = 10.3.0.61 (is NOT used by Hyper-V), adapter2 = 10.1.1.1 (is used by Hyper-V)

Host3: adapter1 = 10.3.0.63 (is NOT used by Hyper-V), adapter2 = 10.1.1.3 (is used by Hyper-V)

DC2: 10.1.1.11

I managed to set up replication of this DC2 VM from Host1 to Host3 successfully using certificate-based authentication. The completing window titled "Enabling replication for DC2" said

"The network adapters for the Replica virtual machine are not connected to any network . You can manually configure the network adapter settings for the Replica virtual machine."

I then tried to connect the DC2 replica on Host3 to the only available virtual switch (derived from Host3\adapter2) and got the error:

The Host1's and Host3's firewall are turned off, there's no any additional software installed on Host1 and Host3.

What can be wrong with this D-Link virtual swich?

Thank you in advance,

Michael
