Most of the time i start using a "rule of thumb" of 3/4:
All VMs must not use more than 3/4 of the total physical RAM of the Host/Physical Machine
I´t s "good guess"?
Of course it dependes on many factors, like backup software or other components besides Hyper-V, dynamic memory and so on.
So, i found on a BizTalk tech article the following rule:
300 MB fortheHypervisor
plus
32 MB forthefirst GBof RAMallocatedtoeach virtualmachine
plus
another 8 MB foreveryadditional GBof RAMallocatedtoeach virtualmachine
plus
512 MB forthe hostoperating systemrunningonthe rootpartition
It is right?
This rule is OK? It´s a good measure?
