We have multiple Hyper-V servers, some are 2008R2 and some are 2012. I have exported a virtual machine from Server2008R2, and copied its contents to the Server 2012 Hyper-V server using Hyper-V Manager. When I go to import the VM's into the 2012 server,
and go to the specific folder that these were saved in, it does not show any Virtual Disk Images.
If I just browse to the folder path using explorer all the files, XML, EXP, and VHD files are there, but it still doesnt pick it up.
Please help with any suggestions. To keep it simple, I just need to move virtual machines from our 2008R2 Hyper-V box onto our 2012.
